Our Practice Financial Policy
We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible care and service. We regard your understanding of our financial policies as an essential element of your care and treatment. To assist you, we have the following financial policy. If you have any questions please feel free to discuss them with our billing staff at (866)716-KANE (5263).
Unless other arrangements have been made in advance by either yourself or your health coverage carrier, full payment is due at the time of service. For your convenience, as well as taking cash and personal check payments, we do accept VISA and MasterCard.
Your Insurance
We have made prior arrangements with many insurers and other health plans. We will bill those plans with whom we have an agreement. Please be aware that we are required according to our contractual arrangements with these health plans to collect your co-pay and/or deductible at the time of your visit. Please be prepared to pay for these when you arrive at the office. In the event your health plan determines a service to be "not covered," you will be responsible for the total charge(s). In that event, we will bill you and payment is due upon receipt of the statement.
If you have insurance coverage with a plan with which we do not have a prior agreement, we will prepare and send the claim to this insurance carrier as well. As stated above, you will be required to pay for any co-pay and/or deductible due from this health plan at the time of your visit.
We will bill your insurance health plan for all services provided in the hospital.
When you insurance company has paid their portion of your balance, a patient statement will be generated, and you will receive this in the mail. Any balance due is your responsibility and is due upon receipt of a statement from our office.
Again, should you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage and the services we provided please feel free to contact our insurance department. The phone number is 866-716-KANE (5263).
